The Ultimate Blunt

This is a short tutorial on how to roll the Ultimate Super Blunt!

To roll the Ultimate Super Blunt you will need:

- A blunt paper (Flavoured or not its your choice)

- At Least 2 grams of the finest weed you can get your hands on

- Some hash oil
- The crystals you have been collecting from your crystal catcher grinder

- Some skillz!

To roll the ultimate blunt:

1. Fill the blunt paper with the bud.

2. Sprinkle your pollen all over your bud.

3. Roll the blunt to just before the licking it point.

4. Rather than lick the blunt paste the hash oil down the side and use that to st

ick the blunt. (lay it on thick!)

5. Finish rolling it and sign it with hash oil.

6. Spark it and hit it hard!

How to roll a hash oil joint

Here is how to roll a hash oil joint.

Firstly you will need:

- Hash oil

- Rolling Paper

- Weed

- Cooking alcohol (90% +)

- To roll this special joint you will need to mix some hash oil in with the alcohol to dissolve it a little and get a more pasty consistency. This is because we are going to pain the rolling paper with the mixture.

- Paint the paper with your mixture and have a joint while you wait for it to dry. (It must dry properly)

- Once the rolling paper is dry, grind your weed up and roll a fat joint.

- Smoke it and be merry!

There are several elements to rolling a perfect joint the main one being the skill of the roller but to make the joint rolling experience as efficient, easy and enjoyable as possible you must have the right materials to roll a good spliff.

Rolling paper

The market is flooded with all types of rolling paper from Super fine rizla to rolls of fruity flavoured skins. Each type of rolling paper has it's own qualities for rolling different types of joints.

Paper Rolls - Paper rolls are much wider than run of the mill rolling papers, this is to help you roll long/novelty joints as you could roll an infinitely long joint with these rolls.
Do not go over the top when deciding how long you want to make your spliff as if it is too long it will naturally flop over. Rolls are used instead of sticking loads of rizlas together to create a large joint.
You need a lot of weed to make a joint out of some roll. Remember to fold the paper before rolling.

Fruity flavoured skins - These are a perfect companion for weed. These skins add some fruity flavour to your smoke and licking your lips afterwards is the icing on the cake. These papers are quite thick but this makes them all the more delightful to roll with. Licking the gumi bit is the best bit.

Blunt wraps - Blunt wraps are the best way to smoke a joint. There is no need for mixing your bud with tobacco with these babies. Just grinds up a couple of grams of bud and roll it up in the processed tobacco leaf. They burn down evenly  so it won't pull a sidey (canoe). Add a little more flavour to your joint with flavoured blunt wraps.
These are best kept in a fridge and as they are damp take care when rolling as so not to tear them.

Pre-rolled cones - I must admit that i have never used or had the need to use them but if you lack the skill to roll the perfect joint, then these will accomplish that for you. Just fill the cone with your weed and tobacco mix, twist and enjoy.

Tips on rolling paper

There are many rolling papers on the market and you must experience each one for yourself before deciding which you prefer the most.
 - Thick Rizlas are good for beginner rollers as the thick papers takes a cone shape much more easily than the thin ones.
 - A good gumi is needed to insure the spliff doesn't fall apart. Most rolling sheets use 'Gum arabic' which is reliable.
 - For longer joints thicker/wider paper is required for sustainability.
 - Mix the tobacco and marijuana well before rolling it for an evenly rolled joint.

Roach paper


The roach serves several purposes in the joint:

 - It hold the shape and integrity of the joint
 - The roach stops tobacco or bits of weed being sucked through when you take a drag.
 - It prevents you from burning your lips when taking a hit.

The roach should be between half and 3/4 of an inch long for a standard spliff and should be rolled between your hands for a perfectly circular result.

Rather than roll a regular roach try rolling an 'M roach' to prevent sucking spliff debris through when taking a hit.

Rolling a joint with a dollar bill / £5 note

For beginner smokers out there struggling to roll a perfect spliff, good news!
This method works like a rolling machine that does all the work for you except you dont have to lug around an awkward rolling machine, you just whip a dollar bill out of your wallet.

How to roll a joint with a dollar bill:

1. Make your weed/tobacco mix.

2. Fold up about an inch of the end of your dollar bill. Depending on the size of your rolling paper either fold it length ways or width ways.

3. Fill that little crevis you made with the marijuana mix and begin rolling it into a joint shape.

4. Once you have the shape forming start to slide the paper in behind the mix and begin rolling it. If you follow the video posted here it will make sense how the dollar bill does all the work for you when rolling the joint.

5. Once the spliff has rolled itself, pull it out, lick it and stick it.

6. If nescacery roll a roach and stick it in the end.

VOILA!

Cone joint rolling with Rollmate

As an avid joint roller i like to think of joint rolling as an art  and have no need for this as do many of you.

But! i know so many people that just try and fail repeatedly trying to roll a perfect cone shaped spliff.

Well here is the answer and it comes in keyring form!

How it works:

- You simply roll your paper around this steel keyring cone known as the Rollmate.
- Lick it and stick it.
- Now that you have a perfect cone roll a roach and use the steel joint rolling friend to poke the roach down to the end of the cone.
- By now you should have realised that the Rollmate doubles as a poker and you can simply poke your special herbal mix (Chronic & Blueberry) to fill the cone.
- Twist and smoke!

How to roll a nosecone/Tulip joint

The nosecone/Tulip joint is a real party piece and very impressive.

I will run through ho to make one of these monsters. This is for quite advanced rollers and requires some arts and crafts skill.

You will need:

- A few rizlas (rolling papers)
- 2 Cigarettes
- At least 3 grams of some high grade weed
- A lighter

1. Firstly visit the How to roll an L  and roll and L.

2.  Stick two king sized rizlas together to make a square and fold them into a cone like shown in the picture. It will turn out like this picture

 3. Then tear the excess paper off the end of the joint. This part may take a few tries as it's very tricky.

4. Use the excess paper on the nosecone to seal round the joint. Tear the gummy part off another rizla and use this to attach the nosecone to the joint.

How to roll an L joint

This joint is in theory 1 1/2 times longer than a traditional joint, so lasts longer and gets you higher.

You will need:

-WEEEEEEEEED!!! a fat gram of it
-A cigarette
-2 rizlas (rolling papers)
-A lighter
-Some rolling skills

Make your standard weed and baccy mix and a roach. Then take one rizla and lick half of the gummy side and stick that onto the end of the other rizla to form an L shape. Remember to stick it on the opposite side the roach goes on.

Tear some of the top corner off to make it easier and less fiddly (less paper).
Once the L paper is dry and secure just roll it a bit to make sure before you fill it with weed and start rolling it in the traditional manner.

Lick it, stick it, spark it.

How to roll a backroll joint

Also known as the backwards joint and the 'flipmode' it's fairly simple and the end product is like smoking without paper!

So make your marijuana and tobacco mixture like you would for a normal joint and a roach of course.

Then turn the rizla (paper) upside down so the gumi is facing down and on your side and crease it down the middle so you can pile that mixture into there.

Next roll it like a normal joint except when it comes to licking it the gumi will be on the inside, this is why you will like the outside where the gumi is, don't worry your saliva will penetrate the porous paper.

Then dry it by blowing on it or running a lighter along it, tear off the excess paper, twist the top and spark it!

How to roll a windmill joint

This is a real party piece but creating it is like a real arts and craft session.

You will need:

-A piece of thin A4 card
-A pair of scissors
-A lot of rizla (rolling paper)
-2 Cigarettes
-2 grams of spicy marijuana

1. Firstly cut out a D shape from the card, like it shows in the movie, then roll it into a joint shaped cone and seal with tape or rizla gumi.

2. Next, poke four holes into the side of the cone about an inch from the top, make sure the holes can fit a joint in snugly.

3. Cover the end of the cone in rizla, seal and twist, so now it looks like a huge joint.

4. Roll four joints, if you are not sure how use the tutorial provided on this site.

5. Put the joints in the four holes, poke an air hole somewhere between the spliffs and the mouth piece. The tutorial shows two extra pieces of card to be inserted, these are optional extensions.

6. Light those four bad boys and chunt that windmill.

This tutorial will make things a lot clearer . . .

How to roll a Spliff

Back to the basics on how to roll a spliff.

By no you should have some rizla (rolling paper), some roach paper, some tobacco (cigarette tobacco is the best), a grinder and some fine 'erb.

1. Roll a roach (pretty simple). This is done getting a piece of thin card about an inch by 2 inches and rolling it width wise.
This prevents the spliff hole closing, bits coming through into your mouth and prevents burning your lips.

2. Place the roach at which ever end of the joint you preffer, making sure the rizla is well balanced on a table or an open book.

3. Empty half the cigarette and grind .5 to a gram of weed and mix them. Choose your own ratio depending on how strong you want it. I'd suggest 50/50 if your new to it . . .

4. Pick up the rizla with the evenly laid mixture inside between both your thumbs and indexes at each end and begin rolling it into a joint shape, surely you have seen this done.

Then start to fold the edge closest to you over the mixture and into the other side using your thumbs.

after you have succesfuly folded it, 9 tries later lick the gumi strip which i should have mentioned earlier should be facing you and close her up as neatly as possible.

5. Finishing off. Burn any excess paper at the roach end then pack the joint down by either poking with a cig or tapping the roach end on the table.

Twist the top, put it in your mouth and light that bad boy!
